Fortino Torino

ASD Fortino – Where History Meets Tango Located in the heart of Turin's Aurora district, ASD Fortino is a place where sport, culture, and community have come together for over a century. Originally founded as a traditional bowls club, with a remarkable history of national and international achievements, Fortino began a new chapter in 2016, transforming its facilities into a vibrant centre for dance, culture, and social activities. Today, Palafortino is one of Turin's leading destinations for Argentine tango, featuring an impressive 500 m² wooden dance floor that welcomes dancers from all over the world. At the heart of its tango activities is ForTango School, offering classes for beginners and experienced dancers, technique and musicality workshops, international guest teachers, and regular opportunities to practise. The school promotes an inclusive and welcoming approach to social tango, built on connection, musicality, mutual respect, and the freedom to explore both dance roles. Tango at Fortino goes far beyond classes. The Gran Milonga del Fortino, held on Saturday nights, weekly practice sessions, and major international events such as Eroica Tango Marathon, Torino Tango Marathon, and Fortino Tango Friends bring together dancers from across Europe and beyond. Above all, Fortino is a community: a place where friendships grow, experiences are shared, and every embrace becomes part of a collective story. At Fortino, tango is more than a dance. It's a way to connect, grow, and feel at home.
